Firstly, congratulations on your engagement and your decision to get married!
This is an exciting time for you and your fiancée, we hope that we can be of service to you as you start this exciting journey together.
If you, or your fiancée, live in the Parish of St Mary’s Hitcham, it is normally possible for your marriage to take place here. If you don't live in the Parish you may still be able to get married here, you can find more information about where you can marry here.
The church holds marriage in very high regard, so if you do decide to get married at St Mary's Hitcham, after you have confirmed your marriage date with us, we expect every couple to do a short marriage preparation course (normally half a day) which will help to better prepare you and your fiancée for your new life together.
If you are getting married in another church and need your Banns of Marriage to be read, please complete this form and we'll be in touch. Be sure to leave plenty of time, at least 3 months before the wedding day.
