Real
Peace
Find the true gift of peace this Christmas
In the Bible Jesus says, “My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
The most perfect gift to the world came to us in the most humble wrapping. This Christmas, we celebrate the peace that Jesus gifts to us, and explore how, in the midst of a chaotic world, we can experience true peace.

Sunday 14 December, 6.30pm
Join us for a special evening of traditional carols and candlelight as we celebrate the coming of Christ.
In a world full of fear and uncertainty, we'll explore how real peace is possible - not because everything is sorted, but because God has come near in the person of Jesus. Whether you're a regular at St Mary's or joining us for the first time, you're warmly welcome.
The service will be followed by mince pies, mulled wine and a chance to chat.

Crib Service
Sunday 21 December, 3pm
A relaxed celebration especially for babies, toddlers, and young children. We gather around the nativity scene to tell the Christmas story in a simple and fun way, with plenty of space for little ones to wriggle, wander, and join in.
This short, family-friendly service is a lovely way to begin Christmas together.
Midnight Mass
Wednesday 24 December, 11.30pm
A traditional and reflective service held in the stillness of Christmas Eve as we move from darkness into the light of Christmas Day.
With carols, readings, and Holy Communion, this service invites us to pause amidst the busyness, and to welcome in the Christ child with hope and reverence. A beautiful way to begin Christmas.
Please note: this service begins at 11.30pm!
