Our Vicar

 Revd Sue Sampson

I am a mother of 3 grown up boys and a grandmother to a wonderful little boy who is a complete joy to me (all grandmothers say that I believe!) People would describe me as being ‘big, bouncy and full on’ and I guess that’s true. I have always believed in ‘living life to the full’ (John 10:10).

I have been a Christian for 33 years now and my journey has been eventful. Fun, sometimes sad, often challenging but always exciting. God called me to be a Vicar quite late in life. I know that He was preparing me and helping me build the skills I need to do this ministry.

I am passionate about people knowing that they are so loved by God and that that changes who we are and how we live - for the better! I believe that everyone should hear about His love, and that the Church needs to be out there among the people, being church where people are. It's not about getting people to come to church necessarily, people live increasingly more complicated and busy lives, but everyone needs to hear the Good News. I encourage everyone to go out there, be in the community, come alongside people in every kind of need.

Be Christ-like.

What Should I Expect?

Our services include singing; as an act of worship, prayer and teaching based on Bible readings.

There is no dress code for any of our services, come in whatever you are most comfortable in.

You'll find a warm welcome at the door, and if you have any questions just ask!

We are a family friendly church, and we welcome people of all ages! We have a group for children and a special 'Family service' every month to get them involved.

Join us for tea or coffee (and often cake!) after the service. We'd love to get to know you!

Parking is available on the road in front of the church. All we ask is that you leave the gravel area clear for those with disabilities and keep the gates clear.
