Hello everyone
I’m just halfway through my sabbatical and thought I would touch base. I miss you all loads and miss being in our lovely church. I am praying for you all daily and hope all is well with you.
I’m certainly having a very busy time networking and building contacts for my research. I have attended many webinars and zoom meetings and gained much knowledge in my research. I am now setting up my trip to the United States to meet several Pastors of different churches who are engaging with digital congregations – all very exciting.
For those who don’t know, a church sabbatical involves time with God, rest, restoration, retreat, research and having a holiday. It’s a lot to pack in but it is so lovely too knowing that I can continue to grow in God’s love and learn how to disciple in different ways. It is lovely to have the Diocese’s and your support too in this time.
