Litter Picking Prayer Walk

On Saturday 16th July, a dozen or so slightly crazy people took part in the Litter Picking Prayer Walk - in very hot sunshine. We collected 15 bags of litter from just a couple of roads in our Parish around Tesco’s - and prayed too - and walked of course.

A few cars said thank you as they passed by and one lady came out and chatted for a while. We were able to plug St Mary’s!

The council lent us the litter pickers and the bags and even arranged to collect the full bags.

We plan to hold another LPPW - but probably when it’s cooler!

A big thank you to those who took part.
